WaterWipes Giveaway {CLOSED}

Experienced mommas may know this already, but itz something I learned after baby William was born.  Hospitals (at least the one where I delivered) don’t use baby wipes for diaper changes on newborns.  Instead, they use dry wipes.  Itz like a soft, thick paper towel that you dip in water.  The thinking behind it is that traditional wipes contain harsh chemicals that can be upsetting to your baby’s new sensitive skin.

I continued to use dry wipes dipped in water for the first couple weeks of William’s life.  Convenient?  Absolutely not.  I kept a small tub of water by the changing table in William’s room which wasn’t a big deal, but anywhere else I changed him was a hassle.  During one of William’s many newborn photoshoots with Stephanie Cotta Photography, she was changing his dirty diaper.  We were laughing as I was literally pouring water from a water bottle onto the dry wipe as she impatiently waited to clean my baby’s bottom because I refused to use wet wipes.  But have you ever wondered what is in baby wipes?  A bunch of chemicals, I tell ya!

William was happy I didn’t introduce harsh chemicals to his delicate little tush.

Introduce WaterWipes to solve this problem.  WaterWipes are the only wipes I have used and will use on William’s baby bottom.  WaterWipes have 100% natural ingredients.  What does this mean?  They contain 99.9% purified water and 0.1% fruit extract.  PERFECT!  They’re the baby wipes of my dreams!  They’re a natural baby wipe that I can take on-the-go and use everyday without irritating William’s little hiney.

Even most “natural” or “sensitive skin” wipes have chemicals. That makes no sense to me. WaterWipes are literally chemical-free and are the only baby wipe like it on the market.  I change William’s diaper all.day.long, so itz extremely important that I have something that won’t irritate his skin.  WaterWipes help prevent nappy rash, easily clean William’s bottom, and don’t have a fragrance.

I also really like how sturdy the wipes are.  Since I don’t use other wipes, I’m not sure how they compare, but WaterWipes hold up really well.  When I first brought them to my parents’ house my dad was inspecting a wipe and tried to pull it apart, but couldn’t.  I’m telling you, these are the best wipes ever.  If we’re out and about and I need to wipe off William for whatever reason (if he had an explosion or if I want to clean his hands or face), I use WaterWipes because they’re just that gentle.

Here’s the great part.  One of YOU will win a three months supply (equally 12 packs of 60 wipes each) of WaterWipes!  All you have to do is leave a comment on this blog post telling us why you want to win (mandatory).  You may receive an additional optional entry by following Itz Linz and WaterWipes on Twitter and tweeting, “I want to win a three month supply of @WaterWipesUSA from @ItzLinz! 1. I would love to win these to use on my 4 month old daughter (Audrey… Great name huh!) either our cloth nappies. Sweet William is so precious x

  2. I am expecting baby #2 in September and would love to win these to use during the newborn stage! You are so right about the chemicals-scary, and they are already so prone to rashes at that age because of the frequent diaper changes. These seem like a really great product! Thanks for the info!

  3. I had my first baby on April 30th– the hospital used those nasty chemical wipes. I didn’t know WaterWipes existed.
I would love to use them on my little man’s bottom. :)

  4. The twins would love these I know ;) I am striving to do as much natural care as I can without putting too much pressure on me/us financially or as a mom -sometimes it just isn’t realistic but these would SOOO help! Love to win!

  5. I would love to win these wipes and give them a try. I cloth diaper, and use washcloths soaked in water as our wipes. But I keep a pack of traditional wipes in the diaper bag and would love these for that purpose.

  6. I would love to win these. I use them on my 3 month old son and love them. He’s never had any kind of reaction or diaper rash since he’s been born.

  7. I would love to win these to use on our little girl when she’s born in August. We’re planning to use cloth wipes, but even I know having disposable ones available will be really helpful, especially when we’re traveling, which we tend to do a lot of.

  8. I’m due soon with our first baby and only use natural products on myself. I want to do the same for our baby. We live in NYC where everything is super expensive. Saving $ on three months of wipes would be awesome!

  9. I would love these for baby #2 making his/her arrival in November…my “babies” are 10 years apart so its a completely different experience and I’m “relearning” everything. I would love to win these as I am trying to go the natural route.

  10. Natural Wipes!? Sign me up ! I’m having my first baby in November and the idea of using all those chemicals from normal wipes on its sweet little bottom just doesn’t seem right!

  11. What an awesome product! I am expecting baby #1 and plan to cloth diaper because of the chemicals in disposables, so these would be great to keep chemicals off my new munchkin!

  12. I would like to win because I only have large containers if wipes right now and could use smaller ones for the diaper bag. : )

Hospitals don’t use wipes in NICU babies either- they just use those thick paper towels.

  13. I would love to win the 3 month supply of wipes because when #2 arrives in September we are trying to eliminate as many chemicals as possible that are associated with newborn products.

  14. I am pregnant with my second child, and would love to try these with him or her since my firstborn has such sensitive skin!

  15. These look great! I am surprised there aren’t more “natural” wipes like this on the market. I’d love to win some!

  16. Followed both you and WaterWipes on Twitter! These wipes look awesome! I am in full support of natural, chemical free everything for baby! I’m due at the beginning of August and these would be wonderful. Thanks for sharing them!

  17. I would love to win because two of my best friends are due to have their babies this summer and I think they will really enjoy them

  18. Would love to win these as babies are constantly in rotation on our family :) My nephew just turned 1 yesterday, my little sister just announced she is 10 weeks pregnant, and my cousin and other cousins wife recently announced their pregnancies as well!

  19. I’d love to try these out for our second baby boy, due in July! We’re using cloth diapers and I’m toying with the idea of cloth wipes this time around, but the water wipes would be great for on the go!

  20. I am having my first baby (due August 3rd) and was just wondering what to do about the wipe thing. I don’t like the idea of chemicals on baby skin, but our changing table will be in his bedroom, not the bathroom, and therefore away from any sinks. These water wipes would solve the problem!

  21. I always wondered about that…it seems like such a bad idea to put chemicals in such a sensitive area (or anywhere for that matter)!

My husband saw me reading your nursing post this morning and he was like, “whaaa?! is there something you want to tell me?” tee hee.

  22. I am due with our first child in July and the water wipes would be awesome because I HATE CHEMICALS especially using them on my baby boy

  23. I have a 4 week old, and I’m always looking for ways to make things healthier and cleaner for my little boy!

  24. I had a baby girl one week before you had William so I know first hand how delicate baby skin is. I only want the best for my daughter so that’s why I want to win!! Thanks for the opportunity!!

  25. I’d love to win as I’m expecting a little girl in August and would love to try out a product without harsh chemicals.
