Hello, and do I have a recipe for you today or what! Oh yes, itz a buffalo hummus recipe! You know Jonny and I love the spicy buffalo flavor as evidenced by my last buffalo recipe (cheesy buffalo bean dip). Buffalo chicken dip is an obvious winner, as well, but that’s not what anyone would classify as “healthy.” Buffalo hummus, on the other hand, packs the spicy buffalo punch and delivers spoonfuls of health!
- 1.5 cups chickpeas (1 can)
- 1 tbsp vinegar
- 1 tbsp olive oil
- 1.5 tsp paprika
- 2 tsp garlic
- 3 tbsp buffalo sauce
- juice of 1/2 a lemon
- water as needed
- Combine chickpeas and liquids in food processor.
- Grind until creamy; add water as necessary.
- Add garlic and paprika. Pulse.
Easy enough, right? With just a few ingredients, this is so simple to make! I’ve literally eaten it with a spoon, itz so good.
Mmm, I could just dive in headfirst. I probably wouldn’t smell very good, but that’s alright. I’ve been bringing this buffalo hummus with vegetables to lunch this week at school.
Vegetables + hummus times a million!
Mini peppers and sugar snap peas make the best dipping vegetables, in my opinion. This dip is sure to be made time and time again in this house. We can’t seem to get enough!
Are you a buffalo fan? Favorite dipping vegetables?
