31 Weeks Pregnant | Today’s Mom Cozy Comfort Pregnancy Pillow

31 weeks pregnant – wowza! I often get asked the question, “Do you like being pregnant?”  Easy answer? YES! I love it! I know I’m lucky in that this has been an incredibly easy pregnancy, but I do love everything about being pregnant.  Most importantly, I love our little Baby Itz who is growing inside of me!

31 weeks

Baby Itz: 31 Weeks

Baby’s size? Pineapple.

Maternity clothes? Pretty much the only thing I wear!

Stretch marks? Nope.

Sleep: Sleep has been fine. I’ve been loving my Today’s Mom Cozy Comfort Pregnancy Pillow which I’ll discuss in further detail at the bottom of this bumpdate.

Best moment this week: We bought Jonny a new car and completed the transaction last night. He is now a proud owner of a Honda CRV! Pretty typical family car, and we love it!

Miss anything? Not really.

Movement: So much movement all the time! At my last doctor appointment, my doctor was literally laughing as she watched my stomach jump and move!

Food Cravings: No oh-my-gosh-I-need-to-eat-this-RIGHTNOW cravings, but my sweet tooth has been raging this week! Can’t get enough chocolate.

Anything making you queasy or sick? No..

Gender: BOY BOY BOY!!!!

Labor Signs: None, not that I would know what those feel like anyway!

Symptoms: I’ve really been feeling great!

Belly Button – in or out?  Itz in, but sometimes I can see it through tight shirts, if that makes sense.

Wedding Rings – on or off? On!

Happy or Moody? Happy!

Looking Forward To: On Friday, my wonderful co-workers are throwing me a baby shower which I’m very excited for and grateful about. They’re more my friends than co-workers and really are the best people to work with!

zoey

Zoey has been loving snuggling between my pregnancy pillow!  Jonny always says, “Zoey loves your pregnancy pillow. Zoey’s pregnant!” lol.

I can’t find a direct link to the Today’s Mom Cozy Comfort Pregnancy Pillow, but if you Google it, there are a ton of matches that come up and various options for where/how you can purchase it.  Jonny bought it for me right when we found out I was pregnant.  It took several months for me to feel like I “needed” to use it, but now that I’m using it – I love it! And anything to help with sleep when I’m waking up so much to pee is definitely a bonus!

Itz u-shaped which makes it awesome for not needing to move it when I flip from side to side.  I put my head on the “u” part and then throw a leg over either side depending which way I’m laying. Itz also very convenient for stacking an additional pillow on top for when I’m laying on my back. (You’re not supposed to lay flat on your back during pregnancy, so this makes it easy and comfortable to be propped up.) I bought the pillowcase for the pillow and itz kind of a pain to get the pillow stuffed back inside because itz so huge, but itz only annoying for the two minutes that it takes and I really like that you can wash the pillowcase.  I haven’t tried any other pregnancy pillows, but if you’re in the market for one, I can recommend this one!

Did/do you use a pregnancy pillow? What kind of sleeper are you? (back, side, stomach) I’m a stomach and side sleeper and the pregnancy pillow makes it much more comfortable with my baby bump!

  1. Crazy that you’re 31 weeks already! Doesn’t pregnancy fly by?! You look wonderful btw and pregnancy looks great on you. I also loved being pregnant, I had it pretty easy (minus some back pain in 3rd) but overall it was a very special time!

  2. You look adorable — I’m so glad you love being pregnant!

I love my snoogle which sounds similar to your pillow. But, yes, getting the pillow case back on is the biggest pain ever!

  3. I loved my snoggle pillow!

You look beautiful, by the way! Hope you continue to feel great as you approach the end! =)

  4. I just came across your blog, congratulations on your pregnancy! As someone who has struggled with over a year of infertility and just got tagged with a diagnosis of MTHFR mutation, your story gives me so much hope! I am curious if you have continued taking lovenox throughout your pregnancy?

    • Thanks, Marie! :) Yes, I have continued with Lovenox and will stop it at my 34 week appointment. One doctor told me I’d continue with Lovenox the whole time (as I have) and another doctor said it wasn’t necessary, but it couldn’t hurt anything, so I chose to continue.
