Weekend Highlights

Let’s start off this marvelous Monday with a bump picture, shall we? Those are always fun.

pregnant 27weeks

On Wednesday I’ll be SEVEN MONTHS pregnant!  Crazy! Which means tomorrow I’ve got my 27 week bumpdate post coming.  Last week, there was such great discussion going on in the comment section of the Natural vs. Epidural post – I love it.  Keep talking to me, friends; any and all advice, experiences, and thoughts are welcomed and appreciated!

Other weekend highlights include a can of ginger ale Zevia.

Still digging my new Zevia and Simply Straws.  As you can see from the first two pictures, I downloaded a new-to-me app this weekend.  Itz called “Picfx” and I’m kind of obsessed with it!  I love adding the bubbles and hearts to pictures.  I learned about it from Katie - speaking of which, itz Marvelous in my Monday today on Healthy Diva!

On Sunday morning, I got in a totally marvelous workout.  I was just walking on the treadmill, but I incorporated a ton of incline intervals and was a sweaty mess by the end.  Itz fun to see my progress on the Armour39 app that goes with itz heart rate monitor.

That’s the highest my WILLpower has ever been, and I was pretty stoked since my pregnant workouts tend to be pretty low-key in comparison to what they were before.  I posted my full review of the Armour39 late Friday evening, so be sure to check it out.  If you’re looking to take your fitness to the next level, I highly recommend the Armour39.

Speaking of getting my fitness on, I attended my third prenatal yoga class at Urban Breath.

It was marvelous, as always, and Stacy, our instructor, brought up another really great discussion topic which I’ll write about tomorrow.  Also, I got to try my new Kulae Elite Hot Hybrid mat / towel which was pretty cool.  More details coming on that, too.

Weekend highlights ALWAYS include family!  Last night, Jonny and I started the evening at my grandparents’ house with a million and one appetizers, and then headed to my in-laws for a delicious dinner.

Family time is the best.  And since we started this post with a bump picture, let’s end it with one, as well.  Jonny and the bump:

I’m pretty sure the bumpity bump is way more magnified due to the amount of food I ate.  Part baby, part food. ;) Heh heh.

So food, fitness, and family – yup, that pretty much sums up my weekend!

Food, fitness, and family – pick one (or all!) and tell me how it was incorporated into your weekend!  Happy Monday!

Family time this weekend – it’s still too cold for lots of outdoor activities – included going to the movies with both my mum and dad (!) which is rare because he’s not much of a movie person.
