17 weeks pregnant – all good with Baby Itz and me besides a case of the sniffles as I mentioned yesterday. Don’t mind my red nose and watery eyes in my bumpdate picture. You can’t even really see it due to the poor quality of the amateur photography; I think I just look tired. And maybe I’ll invest in a real camera once Baby Itz is here…
Baby Itz: 17 Weeks
Baby’s size? Onion.
Maternity clothes? No, but I’ve really been digging stretchy pants…
Stretch marks? Nope.
Sleep: Sleep has been good except the past few nights due to major congestion when I lay my head down. I’ve got the humidifier blasting, and that’s reduced my sore throat.
Best moment this week: When my sister sent a video of my niece Audrey with a baby doll tucked under her shirt. If you missed it, you can catch a clip of it on Instagram.
Miss anything? Sushi! I haven’t been craving it, but it would have been nice to indulge during our family dinner last weekend as my parents ordered quite the smorgasbord.
Movement: Sometimes I think I can feel a little something at night, but I really don’t know, and they don’t really feel like “flutters” as everyone claims it should feel, so that makes me think I’m not quite feeling Baby Itz yet. All in good time.
Food Cravings: None, just loving food in general.
Anything making you queasy or sick? Nope.
Gender: A couple more weeks and we will know!!!
Labor Signs: None.
Symptoms: Just this case of the darn sniffles! I literally never get sick, and I’ve heard a lot of people do when they’re pregnant. I’m attributing mine to the fact that I’m not getting my daily sweat on everyday anymore. I seriously think that’s kept me healthy the past few years. Oh well, hopefully this will be one and done in terms of sickness.
Belly Button – in or out? In.
Wedding Rings – on or off? On!
Happy or Moody? Happy happy!
Looking Forward To: My first prenatal yoga class tonight! My friend Nichole who I’ve taught with for the past five years is six weeks ahead of me, so we’re going together.
Did you ever take a prenatal yoga class? What is your favorite type of yoga?
