Koss Headphones for Women

I was selected through FitFluential to review the new Koss Fit Series headphones.  Koss Fit Series are the first headphones for women designed by women.  I was sent two pairs of headphones to review: the FitClips and the FitBuds.  Can we just talk about how much I love the neon colors of them both?!

KOSS

Named as one of the “Top Female Athletes of the Decade” by Sports Illustrated, swimming sensation Dara Torres has received an incredible 12 Olympic medals. She is a New York Times best-selling author whose two books, “Age is Just a Number” and “Gold Medal Fitness”, have helped inspire women to realize it’s never too late to accomplish your dreams. She is the ultimate living proof that determination trumps age.

That’s right, Dara, itz never too late to accomplish your dreams!  (This is along the same lines as Under Armour’s What’s Beautiful campaign – LOVE this type of motivation and inspiration!)

I was curious as to how I would like these new headphones as I have small ears and have difficulty finding earphones that stay in.  The first I tried were the FitClips which I thought would be really uncomfortable as they clip around your ear.  I was way wrong!

fitclips

These are the lightest headphones I’ve EVER worn!  I can’t believe how lightweight they are.  I also can’t believe how much they block out surrounding sound.  I was wearing them on the elliptical yesterday morning and apparently my friend kept trying to talk to me.  I was completely oblivious until I turned her way.  Woops.  I really, really liked these.  They provided good sound without hindering my movement at all.  I did not have to worry about them falling out as they stayed in place and were comfortable throughout the duration of my workout.  Two thumbs up, Koss!

The next pair I tried were the FitBuds.

Honestly, I didn’t like these as much as the FitClips.  They weren’t as comfortable and they kept feeling like they were going to fall out.  They never did, but that’s the feeling I got.  The cushion part does come in three sizes, so perhaps I need to try a smaller size.

Itz cool that all the Koss Fit Series products have three sizes of cushions and they are all sweat resistant – perfect for those grueling workouts!  Koss Fit Series headphones are very affordable – $30!  Use the code Fit4Life to receive $5 off and free shipping!  Sweet deal!  Plus, let me reiterate one more time that these are designed FOR women BY women.  Girl power!

Have you tried any earphones from the Koss Fit Series?  Which do you think you’d like better: the FitClips or the FitBuds?

FitFluential & Koss provided me with the products for review purposes only.  All opinions are my own.

  1. I’ve been on the lookout for new ear buds because apparently I have strange, small ear holes and nothing fits right that’s less than like $300! I will have to look into these fit clip ones :)

    • I was very surprised at how comfortable the clips were… I thought I would dislike them, too, but was pleasantly surprised!
