Marvelous Boston Highlights

Well my Monday certainly is marvelous as I start a new week with just returning from the Healthy Living Summit in Boston!  While I have so many marvelous moments to share with you from the weekend, I’m keeping today short and sweet as I arrived back in St. Louis around 7:30 pm last night, still need to finish unpacking and doing laundry, as well as dash off to two softball games almost directly after school today.

Not that I’m complaining or anything; I love my life, as busy as it is!  Itz only appropriate that the first picture I share with you during today’s Marvelous In My Monday is from the weekend – I finally got to meet the one and only Diva Katie!

I was so happy (and kind of star struck) to meet Katie.  She is just as down to earth, fun, kind, sweet, and beautiful as she is on her blog Healthy Diva Eats.  I absolutely love her and can’t wait for the next time I get to see her which will hopefully be sooner rather than later… Get to planning, Katie! ;)

Another marvelous part of the weekend was my marvelous roommates, Meg and Chelsea.  Right when I knocked on the hotel room door, it immediately opened and out burst two little, screaming, hugging Canadians!

We all have a slight Lululemon addiction – can you tell?

It felt as though I’d known these girls for years as we instantly clicked and spent the majority of the 72 hours together.  Funny story about these two Canucks from a phone conversation with my dad:

Dad: So how’s Boston?

Linz: Itz good, eh!

Dad: Uhhh, that’s not Boston…

Linz: It is when you’re living with two Canadians!

While I’m pretty sure my father first thought I was a big moron for thinking “eh” was a Boston thing, Meg and Chelsea got a kick out of the fact I picked up on the “eh” they drop at the end of every sentence.  They didn’t even realize they said it, and it may be stereotypically Canadian, but they did it and they did it a lot.  I think I’m going to bring it back to the States.  What do you think, eh?

Photobooth fun with Meg, Chelsea, & Amanda

I wish we would have had more time to explore Boston, but our days were full of fun regardless.  We had a sweet room that had a large balcony and marvelous view.

All in all, it truly was a marvelous weekend.  I learned so much (Blog Photog Basics!), and have numerous ideas and motivation for the blog.  Thank you to the wonderful ladies at Healthy Living Blogs who put together the marvelous weekend.  I’m already looking forward to next year!

If you went to the Healthy Living Summit, what did you think was most marvelous?  And if you didn’t, tell me something marvelous about your weekend!  Eh?

  1. The Summit looks like it was a blast :) This weekend was pretty low key. Caught up with a girlfriend at this wine bistro and last night my husband and I ate dinner with my family and then went to see The Dark Knight Rises (which I was surprised by how much I liked it – I’m not an action movie fan at all and I was blown away.)

  2. You made my weekend marvelous too girl! I seriously had the best time with you! I woke up this morning at 5:30 am and was like “Where are Meg and Linz?!?!” I’m going through withdrawal right now, eh?

  3. Linz!!! Soo happy that we met! You’re such a lovely person..both inside and out! I just wish we got to talk and spend more time together! Glad to hear you made it home safely to your hubby ;)
