You know how some high school sports have 2 a days? What if I told you that yesterday I pulled a 5 a day? Would you believe me? Well, it may be a huge minor stretch, but listen how I spent my last day before school o-fish-ally starts with kids:
7:15 am – CrossFit Intro class at CrossFit 26. (I highly recommend this box to all people in St. Louis!) I completed six out of the eight classes and because of numerous conflicts and a busy schedule, I will be unable to complete the last two anytime soon. But they are helping me out and having one of the coaches work with me tonight to finish it up. So excited! This means I get to take a real class soon!!!
9: 00 am – 2 mile run around the neighborhood. (#RWRunStreak stays strong!) During CrossFit and my run, I rocked my new FitFluential tank.
See those sweat marks? Yeah, that’s #PROOF, baby!
12:45 pm – Leg workout with my friend at the gym. This friend so happens to be a trainer, so he decided to make some switches to my initial plan. Usually when I do squats I use the Smith machine. He explained that this can be damaging to your knees, so the power rack is the better option. Well, that power rack was WAY harder! My legs were shaking during the first set (but I still knocked out 3 full sets!).
5:00 pm – Take Zoey for a walk. Zoey likes to play a game where she pretends like she doesn’t want to walk with me. She makes me hold her for the first few houses, and then once we cross the street she’ll walk. Weirdo. And I look like the dummy who is holding my dog during our walk.
She gets going after a while, and happily enjoys all the smells for the remainder of our walk. Lil stinker.
6:20 pm - Softball game #1.
7:30 pm – Softball game #2. The softball games didn’t go quite as we envisioned (we lost pretty badly in both), but it was fun, and could be considered a workout by the mere fact I sprinted a few times when [trying] to hit the ball.
Pretty active day, eh? Ok so maybe calling it a 5 workout kind of day is a huge lie stretch, but I sure enjoyed my last day off! And today will be almost as busy with the kiddos coming! Running a mile this morning, then straight from school I’m going to soccer practice where I coach, and straight from soccer I’m going to finish up my CrossFit intro classes. Wish me luck!
What did YOU do that was active today?

Oh my goodness, what a filled day of exercise yesterday, and today as well! Good luck w/ the kiddos today
Thanks!

Haha!
Wow that’s such an active day! You put me to shame.
Yesterday I went to the gym in the morning and did a combo of cardio and weights for an hour. Then I shopped in the morning and walked around Niagara on the Lake in the afternoon. I spent the evening on my butt though haha.
Sounds like you had quite the active day, too!!
Wow what a productive day.I love the tank, you totally rocked it.
Hehe thanks!
you go girl!
Holy cow, you were super active! That’s awesome! I did a two a day — sprint training on the treadmill and arms and legs strengthening circuits later. But you were way better!
Wow! You did great, too!
Let’s just say that I am more than jealous of your incredibly active day
I did however manage to get a swim in after a long day of work. It’s the most active thing I can do while I’m still on crutches and it feels great!
Hehe you’ll get back at it fully soon!
You are a beast girl and I am jealous! That is awesome you probably burned thousands of calories! Way to go
Haha thanks!
Your day sounds like so much fun! And how impressive are you for keeping up the Run Streak? PROPS to you!!
Thanks! I’m having fun with it!
Awww what a FUN day! You are so freaking active–I am really impressed.
Love the pink tank–way cute.
If only every day could be like that!
Oh snap, that is ACTIVITY right there! I just did 30 min interval training on the elliptical. Hopefully some more walking later.
Very nice!
Just found your blog today, so i wanted to stop by and say hi

I don’t think I’ve ever had a day that active!
I did a lot of walking – that’s my activity for the day. Back to the gym tomorrow!
