A Week of Workouts

As my second official week of my work-free summer comes to an end, I look back and realize again just how much I’ve been enjoying my time off.  First of all, there has been a lot of time spent at my grandparents’ home and pool in this 100+ degree weather with all of my nephews, niece, cousins, and cousins’ babies.

That picture shows 8 of my grandparents’ 10 great-grandchildren.  Pretty amazing.  I’ve been happily assisting my sister capture some pretty unbelievable shots.

Occasionally, Stephanie posts her tips and tricks on Facebook to allow fans to see just how she is able to get some of her incredible pictures.  (For the real picture, I am obviously edited out.)  Just yesterday, I got to help with a newborn twin shoot.

Double the babies.  Double the hats.  Double the cuteness.  When I need to lift, hold, or manuever a newborn, my heart melts as I eagerly oblige.  So fun.

Speaking of Stephanie, since she [finally] joined my gym, we have been getting in some killer gym sessions.  Here is what my week of workouts looked like:

My running streak lives on!  And my entire body is pretty sore from working it throughout the week, so tomorrow’s workout may be cardio based with light intensity.

    I love reading photography blogs and doing it on the weekends. If I ever didnt have to work I would definitely look into having my own photography business {after some practice}

  3. You kicked some serious butt in your workouts! I love how much running you’ve been able to incorporate. I started running again this week for the first time in 3 months (I was having hip problems) and it felt AMAZING. I’ve missed it so much!
    And those babies are absolutely adorable. (:

  4. Such beautiful pictures linz! What a great week in workouts. All of mine included 6+ mile runs, followed by some sort of strength training. Today kicked off my “Birthday Week” (do you celebrate your birthday all week??). Hubby and I enjoyed lunch at TGIF, played at the arcade (yes i know it’s for little kids.. but we have a friggen blast & i don’t care lol), saw Spider Man, then had dinner @ a new to us Lebanese Restaurant! Hope your weekend ended awesome!

    • Sounds so fun!! And several 6+ mile runs?? Go you!! I’ve been hearing so much about Lebanese food lately… I think I need to check it out!! Happy early birthday!! (And yes, itz totally acceptable to celebrate your birthday for the entire week!!)
