I ordered my Team Roxie shirt, have you?
Yesterday I began yet another productive Sunday with an awesome cardio session. My cardio had been lacking lately since my focus has been on weights. Since I workout before work in the morning (5:30!), I feel pressured for time; hence, cardio suffers. This past week, the workouts were a bit longer, so I was only able to squeeze in 5-7 minutes of warm-up cardio on legs days (which means twice). Yikes. I got a solid 45 minutes on the stairmill doing intervals at level 10 and was sweatin’ up a storm. And it felt awesome!
This week’s workout will be identical to last week’s as Week 4 repeats Week 3. (Just as Week 2 repeated Week 1.) Here is the line up:
- Monday: Legs
- Tuesday: Back & Biceps
- Wednesday: Chest & Triceps
- Thursday: Legs
- Friday: Shoulders & Abs
However, we will see if I stick to the schedule given my natural rest day attitude. After this week, I will officially have completed Jamie Eason’s LiveFit Trainer’s Phase 1! Each week, I notice myself getting stronger and completing each set with more ease than the previous week. This means I get to increase my weight selections. Yay!
